Some people come into therapy not knowing what they want to work with. All they know is they want to feel better.  Others may arrive with a clear goal in mind and think they have problems that block their goals, an example could be:

  • I just want to feel better but I don't know how?

  • I want to know more of myself

  • I will learn to play the piano but?

  • I want to manage my team more effectively - but how?

I have many years experience working as a therapist with a broad range of issues and problems, with people from all walks of life.  I have experience working with young Adults aged 16 through to elderly clients aged 70 to 90.

  • I would be happy to discuss any questions you may have - feel free to contact me by telephone before scheduling an appointment.

  • Identifying the right therapist to work with is important for you and in helping you find the outcomes you are searching for.  Seeking support from a counsellor or psychotherapist can often feel like a very big and challenging step to take and may initially be daunting or uncomfortable for you.  I understand the importance of you finding the right person to work with when you feel unsure, vulnerable, have thoughts or feelings of disinterest, hopelessness or despair.  I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to explore if we could form a therapeutic relationship and help you identify what your needs are.

Thank you for visiting my website - I hope it will help you get a sense of who I am and how I can work with you.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a friendly, experienced and professional environment and I support individuals, couples and families with short-term problem solving and longer term personal and relationship change.

My practice is based in a secluded private residence of the Barnton area in Edinburgh.  I initially work with clients on a weekly basis. Once we have established our working relationship we can review the frequency of treatment sessions.

My Continuing Professional Development, supervision and therapy in Transactional Analysis provides me with a wide array of knowledge and tools to help people feel better.  Your counselling or psychotherapy journey will be unique to you and will be different to others.

What happens if I need to cancel an appointment? Please note:
